Shares of Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (FFAI) saw an increase of 1.83%, closing at $0.1612, following the company's expansion of robotics education initiatives. The stock experienced fluctuations in early trading before a notable surge mid-morning, ending the session on a high note. This boost coincided with the commencement of the second week of their prominent robotics summer camps in two school districts in Los Angeles.

The camps, a collaboration with the Lynwood Unified School District and the El Segundo Unified School District, aim to provide hands-on robotics experiences rather than solely relying on theoretical instruction. A new partnership with education provider Triple I has enriched the program's curriculum and technology support, allowing students to engage directly with Faraday Future’s robotics platforms.

Throughout the five-day program, participants dive into practical robotics, gaining skills in autonomous systems, robot programming, and hardware development. They work with platforms such as the Navi quadruped, Aegis industrial quadruped, Master humanoid robot, and Futurist data platform, while also learning to utilize open-source robotics tools and programming languages including ROS2, C++, and Python.

The curriculum is not just about coding; it encompasses a variety of engineering exercises and interactive activities. The first day introduces students to safety procedures and the various robotic platforms, alongside coding exercises that utilize sense-think-act logic. Students even design and 3D print custom parts for their robotics projects.

On the second day, the focus shifts to autonomous navigation and AI vision, where students complete search missions and explore the principles of torque. The third day emphasizes mechanical engineering concepts, robot arm activities, and Python programming.

Day four introduces students to humanoid robotics, machine learning, and facial recognition, along with timed competitions to test robot performance. The final day concludes with an analysis of the week's race results using statistics, and students receive certificates acknowledging their accomplishments.
