The draft identifies urgent initiatives for developing quantum-safe blob designs, which are integral to supporting Ethereum’s rollup-based scaling model. Over time, several existing cryptographic systems such as BLS signatures, KZG commitments, and ECDSA are expected to be substituted with post-quantum alternatives.
