Team Liquid has made a significant change to its Counter-Strike 2 roster by adding South African player Johnny “JT” Theodosiou. This move was confirmed when BLAST Premier listed JT as part of Liquid's squad for BLAST Bounty Season 2, a competition with 32 teams vying for a $1.15 million prize pool.

The updated team now includes veterans EliGE and NAF alongside malbsMd, Jorko, and the newly joined JT. Flashie remains in the role of coach. This revamped roster debuts against Vitality in their opening match, setting the stage for what promises to be an intense showdown.

The reorganization follows a rule adjustment made on July 17, 2026, which lifted the previous requirement forcing Team Liquid to keep either ultimate or siuhy in their lineup. With these restrictions removed, Liquid seized the opportunity to restructure their core lineup freely.
