Kalshi has officially launched Kalshi Pro, a trading platform tailored for high-volume traders. This platform is equipped with sophisticated tools such as a multi-market view, a live screener, and an interface for perpetuals based on TradingView charts, making it a powerful addition to the trading landscape.

As the prediction market sector evolves, Kalshi aims to capture the attention of serious investors and expert traders, especially in a climate where regulations are tightening internationally, exemplified by Italy's recent ban on Polymarket due to gambling law violations.

Kalshi Pro: Features and Functionality

Intended for experienced traders who frequently engage in multiple markets, Kalshi Pro enhances the trading experience. It allows for rapid responses to real-time events and enables limit orders that execute when specific price points are reached. Currently in beta, the platform is available to users without charge.

Kalshi's growth has been notable, with annual trading volumes surging to $178 billion. A significant portion of this increase is attributed to quantitative trading firms and adept traders known colloquially as “sharps.” Traditionally, these traders have relied on custom strategies and proprietary software to gain an edge. Kalshi Pro aims to consolidate these capabilities on a single platform.

The new platform utilizes the same account and balance as Kalshi's standard app but adds advanced trading tools that have long been standard for professional stock and bond traders. Andy Chang, the product lead for Kalshi Pro, stated, “Kalshi’s active traders are already trading prediction markets and perpetuals like Wall Street trades equities and bonds. We built Pro to give them the cockpit they deserve.”

  • Canvas: A tool for simultaneous viewing and trading of multiple marketplaces.
  • Active Markets Screener: Allows traders to monitor various markets in real-time.

These features position Kalshi Pro as a valuable resource for professional traders looking to navigate the complexities of prediction markets.
