“This integration is a big deal for enterprises looking for solid AI solutions,” said a spokesperson from xAI shortly after the announcement. Amazon Web Services (AWS) has officially integrated Grok 4.3, the flagship AI model from Elon Musk’s xAI, into its Bedrock platform, providing businesses with yet another advanced tool to enhance their operations.
Grok 4.3 stands out with its impressive 1-million-token context window, making it adept at processing extensive documents like legal contracts and financial reports. xAI also has that this model has the lowest hallucination rate compared to its peers, which is crucial for enterprises that require reliability in AI-generated outputs. The model operates on Bedrock’s new Mantle inference engine, which supports various functionalities including tool calls and real-time streaming.
Pricing for Grok 4.3 is set at $1.25 per million input tokens and $2.50 per million output tokens, making it competitive within the market. AWS announced the general availability of Grok 4.3 on June 15, and xAI followed up with their announcement two days later, indicating a well-coordinated launch strategy. Discussions about the partnership reportedly began in late May, shortly after Grok’s initial release through the xAI API in April.
With Grok 4.3 now available alongside models from Anthropic and OpenAI on Amazon Bedrock, the AI landscape continues to evolve rapidly. As Moonshot AI's recent achievements demonstrate, competition in the AI sector is fierce, pushing providers to innovate and improve their offerings constantly.
